Synthesis: An Autodesk Technology is an open source robotics simulator built by students for students.
The team is made up of high school interns that are members of FRC or FTC robotics teams in the Pacific Northwest. Synthesis was created to bring awareness about 3D modeling and robotics design in the FIRST community. Teams can export their robot CAD models through plug ins for Inventor and Fusion 360 to test their designs with driver practice, robot code emulation, strategy and more.
Check out what you can do with Synthesis!
Importing CAD files, you can simulate an infinite amount of fields and robots to both strategize and test various designs.
Is your fabrication team spending too much time on the robot? You can now test your code without your physical robot.
Practice driving before competition season. With driver practice mode, there's no excuse to not be ready.
Synthesis is built by the community, for the community. You can mod it to suit your needs or even add new features for future builds!
